Happy Birthday, My Sweet Boy!

I can’t believe my baby boy is “6″! How did that happen? Seems like just yesterday I was holding him in my arms for the first time. It makes me kind of sad that he is growing up. He is my last baby and is turning into a little man right before my eyes. I feel so blessed to have been given such a happy little guy. He always has a smile on his face and is the sweetest little thing ever! His imagination is WILD… he comes up with the craziest things sometimes. I love it!

Here is one from our outing to Shoreling Village last night. He was eating ice cream and didn’t want me to take his picture. He kept running away from me and laughing his cute little head off. Silly boy! I hope this isn’t a “six year old thing” , him not wanting me to take his picture. ; }

I LOVE this wallpaper!

I had to share this because it is too cute not to.

I got a new Land of Nod catalog in the mail today… looking through it I came across this cute Frame Wallpaper. I had seen it before, but seeing it reminded me how much I loved it the first time I saw it. I think it is very important for kids to be allowed to develop their creative side. What better way than to do it on the walls! I think this would be perfect in a playroom or child’s bedroom. Maybe even at Grandma & Grandpa’s house for all the Grandkids to decorate. Such a neat idea!

sun flare

We found some yummy light the other night while we were out playing in the evening.

I LOVE some good sun flare!

I love shooting in that last hour before the sun sets… “the Golden Hour”. The light is SO pretty! Summer is a great time to take advantage of this kind of lighting . It has usually cooled off nicely by this time in the evening which makes for a pleasent shoot. It is my preferred time of day to shoot in the Summer months. {Keep that in mind if you are wanting to book a session.}

dandelion love…

Just a quick lil’ post… I will get back into blogging regularly , now that my blog is fixed…

baby steps, right?

I love dandelions!

This is one of my favorite dandelion pictures… look at my daughter’s thumb nail… doesn’t it look like a heart? Who knew that chipped pink nail polish could look so cute? I think I might just have to blow this up and put it in her room. Dandelions are so magical. It is hard to pass one without the urge to pick it up, make a wish and blow.
