Art and Photography have always been a big part of my life and my love for the arts began early on in life. I have always enjoyed using my creative side and thankfully was encouraged from a young age to use it. I was also blessed to have some amazingly talented and inspiring Art teachers all through school. They made me realize how important Art and creative expression really are. I took a fantastic Photography class in High School where we were learned by experimentation, it was an awesome way to learn. That was back in the days of film and darkrooms. Since then I have switched to digital and have adjusted my methods a bit… Photoshop, rather than a darkroom. The instant gratification is fun… however I do miss being in the darkroom waiting and watching as the image finally appears. I would love to set up a darkroom at home and get back in to shooting more film. It is a unique experience. No mater how you get to the final image, seeing what you have in your mind come to fruition in front of you is an amazing experience. It never gets boring. It is such a great privilege and pleasure to create beautiful images of your family as my profession. I truly feel blessed.
