Art and Photography have always been a big part of my life. My love for the arts began early on in life. I have always enjoyed using my creative side. I was fortunate enough to have some wonderful Art teachers while I was in school. They made me realize how important Art and creative expression really are. I am self taught in Photography. I have learned by trail and error mostly. The only “formal” Photography class I have taken was a Photography class in High School where we were learned by experimentation. It was a wonderful way to learn… that was back in the days of film and darkrooms. Since then I have switched to digital and have adjusted my methods a bit… Photo Shop rather than a darkroom, the instant gratification is fun… however I do miss being in the darkroom waiting and watching as the image finally appears.  No mater how you get to the final image, seeing what you have in your mind come to fruition in front of you is an amazing experience. It never gets boring. It is such a pleasure to beable to create beautiful images of your families as my profession. I feel so blessed!
